Starts with a welcome Drink and Canapés Reception followed by a sumptuous candlelit Four Course West Country Dinner with our resident Harpist gently serenading throughout. Perhaps a short stroll to the beautiful St Eustachius Church for Midnight Mass with Cocoa and Mince Pies awaiting your return.
Enjoy a Dartmoor Breakfast possibly followed by a leisurely walk, as you prepare for the centrepiece of the days celebration with a traditional Six Course Christmas Day Luncheon awaiting Father Christmas as he arrives with a sack full of goodies for all. The afternoon to relax in our cosy lounges with the Queens speech, board games, and guess the weight of the cake.
Chefs fabulous Dressed buffet is served prior to the big screen performance of ‘War Horse’ the movie… with popcorn and ice cream for that authentic cinema experience..
Brunch is served from 9 until 11 . Our Boxing Day coach and walk event with our Dartmoor ranger Guide will include ‘War Horse’ filming sites plus talk of the history, life and legends that abounds this stunning location.
Return in plenty of time for the Boxing night dinner with a evening of wonderful musical entertainment guaranteed to get those feet tapping from the River Steam Quartet .
