Moor Golf Breaks

TAVISTOCK Golf Course - with its wide fairways and sweeping vistas the golf course looks deceptively simple but it offers a challenging test for the unwary golfer. Nature has provided its own hazards at Tavistock, with thick gorse and bracken, plus the odd clump of scrubby trees. There are also cunningly hidden bunkers that can trap the most
proficient golfer.
YELVERTON Golf Course – a delightful moorland golf course, designed by Herbert Fowler, who used the old mine working as natural hazards to challenge golfers of all standards. The golf course has been host to many top quality competitions, including the Men’s Senior Amateur Championships in 2006.
OKEHAMPTON Golf Course – nestles in the heart of Devon, sheltered by the highest tors of Dartmoor, on the northern edge of Devon’s magnificent National Park.
