The Bedford Hotels Stunning Gallery 26 function room has one Best Vernacular Award. The owner of The Bedford Hotel Philip Davis said 'Using local professionals certainly paid off they have created a unique contemporary building yet drawn in the beauty and history of The Hotel, this is all complimented by work from local artists. It has certainly put smiles on may of our brides faces with weddings booked as far in advance as 2013'!

£100 tea well worth it

Tavistock's well known author Lilian Harry offered the pleasure of her company to one lucky bidder for the price of £100.

To raise money for Children in Need, Lilian Harry, who has written 22 novels, offered the chance for someone to pay to have tea with her.

Japanese film crew to put Tavistock on the map!

A film crew from Japan were working with Jane Waters at The Bedford Hotel in Tavistock this week filming a programme to encourage the Japanese to visit Devon, and where better than Tavistock!

Trefoil in Gallery 26, Bedford Hotel Tavistock Devon

A window, thought to date from medieval times, has been discovered during building works of the new function room Gallery 26 at the Bedford Hotel in Tavistock.

Gallery 26 opened on the 1st February and is without doubt one of the most imaginative and creative designs seen in Tavistock. This handsome and well-designed function room is perfect for wedding receptions and conferences with seating for up to 130 guests.
