In all areas of The Hotel except the restaurant, we can set aside a lovely table for you in the bar or lounge and offer you the same restaurant menu. We kindly ask that you keep them on a lead in the hotel which enables us to provide you and your dog a special and safe venue. Over 25% of the hotel guests bring their dogs and positively testify that it is an experience not to be missed, whether you have 4 or 2 legs.

Walking your dogs in Devon

The Bedford Hotel has a delightful walled garden where your dog can run in a safe area off the lead, just a short stroll is the beautiful park and canal perfect for a walk with your dogs after dinner. It is just a 1 mile walk to the open Moor where you will find the famous Pimple is very popular and a nice place to sit and watch the golf, yes the golf course is right on The Moor. There are many lovely beaches in Devon where dogs are allowed to run, make a day of it.
